Microsoft Game Studios has sent word that Rise of Nations Gold Edition is now in stores across North America. The compilation contains Rise of Nations and the Thrones & Patriots expansion pack. Players explore over 6,000 years of history as they amass armies, build economies, and perform acts of diplomacy. The new Gold Edition retails for about $29.95.
