The first place in the entire world where you can buy a new Windows Phone 8 device will be in North America, but not in the US. In fact, Canadians will be the first to get the chance to own a Nokia Lumia 920, thanks to Rogers.
The wireless carrier previously said it would have the Canadian exclusive for Nokia's high end Windows Phone 8 device. Today, WPCentral.com reports that Rogers will start selling the Lumia 920 in its stores on Tuesday. Yes, that's tomorrow.
The smartphone will be priced at $99.99 for a three year contract or you can pay $549.99 with no contract. Rogers also announced it will sell the HTC Windows Phone 8X and the Samsung ATIV S devices but no launch date for those phones were announced.
Rogers also announced a big marketing effort for Windows Phone 8 in Canada, and Microsoft, along with the smartphones' hardware device makers, will all apparently chip in to pay for the promotional campaign.
