After learning earlier today that the Nokia Lumia 920 is likely headed to Europe in November, it has surfaced that the Lumia 920 could be headed to United States carrier AT&T as early as November 2nd. "Multiple sources" at The Verge claim that Microsoft and AT&T are working to launch the device in early November, with a Windows Phone 8 Release to Manufacturing due next week; The Verge has a historical rumor accuracy of 84%. Nokia For Us, in a separate report, also says November 2nd thanks to a "reliable source".
Reports peg October 29th as the launch date for Windows Phone 8, so to get Nokia's flagship WP8 smartphone into stores as soon as possible would be great to see. The November 2nd date is apparently not completely confirmed as it could slip back due to issues in carrier testing, but if all things go right this could be one of the first WP8 devices to hit the market.
Currently the other two announced Windows Phone 8 devices, the Samsung ATIV S and Nokia Lumia 820, do not have announced release dates, although this obviously won't happen before the October WP8 launch. It's also unlikely that HTC will officially announce a release date for their upcoming 8X, 8S and 8V devices if the current trends are to be believed.
