Half-Life fans should now be used to rumors and leaks of supposed new games that Valve is developing to continue the saga, and now another one has surfaced, although this leak has a good chance of being legitimate.
According to the same leaker who gave out details of Valve's Dota Underlords game before its reveal - someone going by the name Midoriyan -, Valve will unveil Half-Life: Alyx during The Game Awards presentation next month on December 12. Apparently, this will be a VR exclusive title.
The report arrives in the form of a leaked interview transcript, revealing an exchange between The Game Awards presenter Geoff Keighley, Valve developer Robin Walker, and an unnamed third person (presumably Gabe Newell), talking about the upcoming Half-Life game and Valve's future.
Following the reveal on December 12 on stage, Half-Life: Alyx will go on to launch in March, 2020, per the leak. If true, It looks like this interview will go live before The Game Awards, teasing players to join in and watch the show to catch the reveal. November 19 would be a good day to do this, which is when the original Half-Life will turn 21.
Valve has been saying it's been working on at least three full games for quite some time now, and considering it is also a big promoter of virtual reality - even launching its own Index VR system earlier this year -, a Half-Life VR game is a big possibility.
