Samsung has announced a new special edition of its Galaxy Note10+ flagship which is inspired by the Star Wars franchise. The new model celebrates the forthcoming release of the latest movie in the series, The Rise of Skywalker, which is scheduled to hit theaters on December 20.
The special edition will include a black version of the Galaxy Note10+ with the Star Wars logo on the back and red accents around the camera bump and on the power and volume buttons. The included S Pen will also be red and black. The phone will also come with a special case - again, featuring the Star Wars logo and other design elements from the franchise -, a pair of Galaxy Buds, also colored black and red, and a metal badge meant to be a collector's item. Finally, the phone's software will also come with themed wallpapers, icons, sounds, and animations.
This special edition will be available in a few countries, including Australia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Korea, Norway, Russia, Spain, Sweden, Turkey, UAE, the UK, and the United States. In the U.S., the bundle will cost $1,299.99, which seems somewhat reasonable when you consider the regular Note10+ went on sale for $1,099 just three months ago. However, the 256GB model, which is the one included in this bundle, is currently selling for $839 on Samsung's website.
The Galaxy Note10+ Star Wars Special Edition will be available on December 13, a full week ahead of the release of The Rise of Skywalker. It'll be available on Samsung.com, Samsung Experience Stores, Amazon, and select Best Buy stores and Microsoft Stores.
