Samsung's ongoing effort to dominate the Indian market saw the company launch a number of budget-friendly devices in the country over the past few months, one of which was the recently unveiled Galaxy M12. Today, Samsung introduced yet another pair of new budget smartphones in India.

The Galaxy F12 and Galaxy F02s are the company's latest entry-level offerings for the Indian market. Among the F12's key specs, it's the phone's camera department that Samsung makes lofty claims about. It features a quad-camera setup on the back comprising a 48MP main sensor with an ISOCELL Plus technology and GM2 sensor that was announced in 2019 to bring improvements to mobile photography. The rear camera also includes a 5MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro sensor, and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, there's an 8MP selfie snapper.

The phone also sports a 6.5-inch HD+ Infinity-V display with a 90Hz refresh rate. It's powered by an 8nm-based Exynos 850 SoC. Under the hood, the F12 packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 15W USB adaptive fast charging. It runs One UI 3.1 based on Android 11.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy F02s has a larger screen at 6.5 inches with an HD+ resolution and a 20:9 aspect ratio. It's powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 chipset and it runs One UI 2.5 based on Android 10. The handset packs a 5,000mAh battery with 15W in-box adaptive fast charging. Unlike the F12, it features a triple camera setup consisting of a 13MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor and a 2MP macro camera. The phone also features a 5MP front camera.

The Galaxy F12 ships in Sea Green, Sky Blue, and Celestial Black color variants while the F02s comes in Diamond Blue, Diamond White, and Diamond Black with diamond gradient. The F12 will retail for ₹10,999 (~$150) for the 4GB/64GB configuration and ₹11,999 (~$163) for the 4GB/128GB variant. The F02s is a bit cheaper at ₹9,999 (~$136) for the 4GB/64GB variant and ₹8,999 for the 3GB/32GB version. There's no official word on the phones' availability dates, but Samsung said these will go on sale via its online store, Flipkart, and partner retailers.
