Samsung, Apple, you've been served by HTC (with a cringeworthy rap battle)

You know you've made it as a musician when you're all the rage in Germany; just ask the "Hoff" how it's working out for him, he's somewhat of a superstar over there.

Now, HTC in all its glory and wisdom have decided to take on the likes of Apple's Dr. Dre and Samsung's Jay Z -- superstars in their own right -- with a rapper we had difficulty finding a Wikipedia page on, but according to 9to5Mac, the guy, named The UnDisputedDoc.G, is a "broke rapper from the 80's."

The rap, which can be seen below, is called "Hold the Crown" a clever acronym of 'HTC' (see what they did there!) and for those that can't watch at work, even features an '80's' feel to the video with the title card slightly bumping up and down and side to side at the start of the video.

Luckily HTC's build quality probably can't be compared to the overall feel of the video itself, which features adults dressed up like a Samsung Galaxy or iPhone being shoved by an equally donned HTC guy, who totally rules, bro.. even technical specs are dropped throughout the rap, terms like 'Duo Sensor' and 'Gorilla Glass 3' with HTC CEO, Peter Chou looking on menacingly in parts of the video by use of an inserted image of him.

Anyway, you can totally see it for yourself below so we don't have to watch it a third time to add in details we possibly missed.
