Samsung isn't exactly a household name in the gaming laptop segment, but the company is getting serious with it by announcing the Notebook Odyssey. The South Korean tech giant unveiled the gaming laptop at CES 2019.
It's not as if this is the first time that Samsung introduced a gaming PC. The company has been producing its Odyssey line for quite some time now, with the most recent being the Notebook Odyssey Z. But with the latest Notebook Odyssey, Samsung aims to bolster its efforts to fare against the competition.
The laptop sports a 15.6-inch Full HD (144Hz) display with a hinge at the center resembling a standalone monitor setup. The bezels have also been reduced considerably.

Key features include the Odyssey Mode which lets you configure game settings for different profiles and the Beast Mode which allows you to control the laptop's performance based on the software it runs.
The Notebook Odyssey will arrive in the U.S. by early 2019 and will later ship to South Korea, China, and other territories. Samsung has yet to announce the pricing details.
