It was during the summer when Samsung revealed to the world its latest Note handset, the Galaxy Note8. As we close out the year, the firm has now revealed details of a highly limited edition variant of the handset that will be available to purchase for the next couple of weeks.
The handset is produced in collaboration with creative art brand 99AVANT. The brand is known for its production of high-quality art that is limited to just 99 pieces. Each piece of artwork that is produced has a special eight-digit AVA code, which is meant to ensure that it is authentic. With purchase data being stored in the 99AVANT system, one can always use this code to validate whether a piece is real or not.
Like its standard artwork, the 99AVANT edition of the Galaxy Note8 will also be limited to just 99 units. The handsets will also each have a unique AVA code and feature a signature by the artist. Luckily, the art will be on a supplied case and not on the actual phone itself. Along with the special case and print of the artwork, you'll also get customizations to the phone like a matching theme, icons, and more.
For now, this will be a product that is exclusive to South Korea. The handset will cost 1,911,000 South Korean Won, which is around $1,754 USD. The internal specifications will be similar to the standard model of the Galaxy Note8, but will also feature 256GB of internal storage. If interested, you can head to the Samsung website to make your purchase.
