Samsung unveiled the successors to siblings Galaxy A51 and Galaxy A71 in Korea just the day before yesterday. Today the Indian arm of the electronics manufacturer introduced the Galaxy A52 and A72 smartphones in India as well. Notably, the Galaxy A52 5G variant has not been launched in the region.

The two new entrants to the Galaxy A series are now available to buy locally. As for the specs, while they are mostly identical to their Korean counterparts, there are some minor differences in the Indian versions such as the RAM options. Both models are available in four colours, Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, Awesome Violet, and Awesome White.

As for the prices, the Samsung Galaxy A52 costs ₹26,499 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB ROM variant and ₹27999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM version. Meanwhile, the Galaxy A72 has a price tag of ₹34,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB ROM variant and ₹37,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB ROM version.
To welcome the new Galaxy A series of devices to the Indian market, Samsung is offering certain cashback promotions to select customers in the region. HDFC Bank cardholders can get up to ₹2000 back for Galaxy 752 and up to ₹3000 back for Galaxy A52 on debit, credit and EMI transactions. Payments made via Zest Money qualify for ₹1500 cashback on Galaxy A52 and ₹2000 cashback on Galaxy A72 EMI purchases.
Lastly, Samsung India is also offering no-cost EMI packages coupled with no down payment or processing charges. This promotion is available to customers of non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) in India and some major banks.
