Samsung today rolled out the Galaxy Fit2 in Spain, where it can be purchased for €49. The fitness band was first released in October in the U.S.
The Galaxy Fit2 is available in black and scarlet color options, sporting a 1.1-inch AMOLED display with a resolution of 126 x 294. Inside, it has 2MB of RAM and 32MB of internal storage. With a rubberized plastic body, the fitness band can be submerged at depths of up to 164 feet. Samsung also claims the wearable's battery life can last up to 21 days under typical use or 15 days for heavier applications, courtesy of its 159mAh battery.
It also features an optical heart rate sensor, accelerometer, and a gyroscope. The Galaxy Fit2 is compatible with various phones including devices that run Android 5.0 or later, provided these phones have at least 1.5GB of RAM. The wearable also works with iPhones running iOS 10 or higher.
As per Samsung, the fitness band is best suited for the Galaxy S20 Fan Edition. Like other wearables, the Galaxy Fit2 works to track your sleep and can also automatically detect up to five activities and monitor stats such as calories burned, heart rate, distance, and more.
It also reminds you to wash your hands regularly to help curb the spread of COVID-19 infection as advised by the World Health Organization. In addition, it features over 70 custom dials. You can buy the wearable from Samsung Spain's online storefront and its partner retailers.
