Following the release of the One UI 2.5 update for the Galaxy S20 series a couple of weeks ago, Samsung has now started rolling out the update for the Galaxy S10 and the Galaxy Note10 lineup (spotted by SamMobile) across the world. The Korean company has been surprisingly very quick in rolling out the latest iteration of One UI 2.5 to its flagship devices from not just 2020 but from 2019 as well.
For now, Galaxy S10 owners in Germany are reporting getting the One UI 2.5 update on their device. A wider rollout should happen from Samsung over the coming few days. Similarly, Galaxy Note10, Galaxy Note10+, and even Note10 Lite owners are also reporting getting the One UI 2.5 update on their devices today. For these devices, the One UI 2.5 update includes the September 2020 Android security patch, which means Samsung has once again beaten Google in rolling out monthly security updates to its devices. If the OTA update is not available in your region, you can use Samsung's Smart Switch application on your PC to download the entire firmware and update your device right away.
One UI 2.5 brings a number of enhancements to the table including a Pro Video mode, gesture navigation support for third-party launchers, improved Samsung Notes, Wireless DeX, Live Caption, and more. You can read about all the new features in One UI 2.5 here.
