Samsung has started rolling out the One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy S10 in Germany that brings many of the Galaxy S20 features to it. The company has also announced all the new features that it would be bringing to the Galaxy S10 and Note10 devices with the new update. The Korean company had already issued a press release about this last week in the Netherlands, but today's announcement sheds more light on the update and the features that it will bring to its 2019 flagship devices.
Apart from the previously mentioned Single Take feature, Samsung is also bringing the improved Night Mode from the Galaxy S20 to the Galaxy S10. The new Night Hyperlapse mode will also be making its way to the Galaxy S10 and Note10 as a part of this update. The camera app will also get a new Custom Filter option that will allow users to create a filter with their own color and style which they can apply to their future photos.
Pro Video mode is also coming to the Galaxy S10 and Note10 devices that will allow one to control the shutter speed, ISO, and exposure level while recording a video. Users will also be able to switch between the front and rear cameras while recording a video. Other new features that would be a part of the update and which were previously detailed include a new Clean View feature in the Gallery app, Quick Share for quickly transferring large files between Galaxy devices, Music Share, and more.
The above features will not be making their way to the Galaxy S10 Lite and Note10 Lite. For now, Samsung has rolled out the 1.5GB One UI 2.1 update for the Galaxy S10 in Germany. A wider rollout should commence worldwide in the coming weeks.
