Evan Blass, who has a very decent track record when it comes leaks about unannounced products, revealed earlier this month that the Galaxy S8 Active is heading to Sprint. Later, Samsung also confirmed that the Galaxy S8 Active will land on both T-Mobile and Sprint. Unfortunately, there was no word on availability, but that has now changed.
Sprint has officially revealed that the Galaxy S8 Active will be available from the carrier from November 17. Customers will be able to purchase the handset from Sprint's retail stores as well as the carrier's website and phone support.
Customers can purchase the handset on Sprint’s 18-month lease plan for $35.42 a month. However, the carrier is offering a 50 percent discount to customers who are willing to make a switch to Sprint from another carrier, bringing the price down to $17.71 a month, be sure to read the offering (and small print) in full at the link below.
The handset comes with military-grade durability and offers users a massive 4,000 mAh battery to make sure they don't run out of juice on their device. Additionally, there's a 5.8-inch AMOLED display with 2960×1440 pixels resolution, a Snapdragon 835 processor paired with 4GB of RAM, a 12MP camera or photos, and videos, and an 8MP front-facing camera.
