Last night, Samsung announced the return of its Galaxy Fold handset, saying that it's coming to Korea on September 6 and the U.S. in the coming weeks. Interestingly, people that pre-ordered the troubled foldable phone back in April are getting noticed that their orders have been canceled.
The good news is that the company is giving a $250 store credit to everyone being provided the refund. It says that it wants to rethink its customer experience, something that Samsung did say it was going to do when it announced the device's relaunch.
In the email, Samsung says it's not just rethinking the purchasing experience, but everything including purchasing, unboxing, and post-purchase experience. There's going to be something called the Galaxy Fold Premier Service, an exclusive support service for Galaxy Fold owners. The Korean firm also said that it will be sharing additional details about its new experience in the coming weeks.
