Today, Samsung is introducing the dual-SIM version of its flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S8+. The Galaxy S8+ Duos as it will be called in Europe will ship with an unlocked bootloader and is currently available in the United Kingdom, Germany, and the Netherlands.
UK customers can buy the device today for £779, with it being priced in the other two markets at €899. However, this won't be something you find at your local retailer, as it is currently only being sold through Samsung's online store.
The dual-SIM variant of the smartphone is exactly the same as the regular version except it can run two SIM cards simultaneously. Interestingly, Samsung is using a hybrid slot for the second SIM so users can insert a microSD card alternately.
The smartphone is currently available in two colors, 'Midnight Black' and 'Orchid Grey.' Customers in the Netherlands will receive a free Samsung Gear VR and a €50 Oculus gift voucher with their purchase provided it is done before July 30th. It's still unclear whether the Galaxy S8+ Duos will be available in othermarkets any time soon.
