Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Tab S7 duo back in August during its Unpacked event. Now, the company has announced that it will begin accepting preorders for the devices starting tomorrow. The smaller of the two, the Tab S7 starts at $649.99 and the larger, 12.4-inch Tab S7+ starts at $849.99. It is to be noted, however, that the starting prices are for the Wi-Fi-only versions. The devices will be available on September 18.
The Galaxy Tab S7 sports an 11-inch LCD display that comes with a 120Hz refresh rate panel. The Tab S7+, on the other hand, sports a superAMOLED display. Both devices are powered by a top-of-the-line Snapdragon 865+ SoC. The starting tier for both the tablets are offered with 128GB of internal storage. The tablets also support the S Pen with improved latency, which charges off the back of the device – right below the dual-camera module – magnetically. The Samsung website currently does not list any 5G-enabled models, but those are expected to also be offered from carriers like Verizon and AT&T.
The flagship tablets are also geared towards productivity, as the displays sport a 16:10 aspect ratio, providing increased vertical real estate. The Verge notes that there are discounts of up to 50% on the keyboard accessory when preordered with the tablets, but it looks like the link is not live on the website.
