Samsung, Toshiba rattle DRAM sabres

Korean cheabol Samsung intends to launch a countersuit against Toshiba after the latter accused it of engaging in unfair trade practices.

According to Asiabiztech, quoting Korean press, Toshiba – presumably Toshiba US - filed a complaint against Samsung with the International Trade Commision (ITC).

And while Samsung's official response to the complaint is that Toshiba is struggling to survive in the competitive DRAM market, the same wire reports that it will complain to the ITC too

Earlier this week we reported that US Dramurai Micron bought Toshiba's commodity DRAM business, which includes fabrication plant facilities, for a cool quarter of a billion dollars.
