Samsung is expected to unveil its next flagship, the Galaxy Note9, at the Unpacked event slated for August 9. A lot of rumors surrounding the device have come up and, earlier today, the smartphone maker itself teased the upcoming device with three short videos. But it looks like there's more to come from the Korean company, who has sent press invites for another event taking place next week.
The live stream is being referred to as a "special sneak peek" and it will take place on August 1 at 11am EDT. This would seemingly imply an early look at the Note9 itself, but we could also be getting a first look at the Galaxy Tab S4, a tablet which we've been expecting for a while now.
Rumors have also been plentiful regarding many other Samsung devices which could make their debut on Wednesday. The Samsung Galaxy Watch, which Samsung has seemingly confirmed to be launching, is one of the possibilities, as is the rumored Bixby smart speaker. It could also be that some of these devices are shown alongside the Note9 instead - if they're announced at all.
Earlier this year, Samsung was reported to have less-than-expected profits due to relatively slow sales of its Galaxy S9 flagships. With two events within the next two weeks, Samsung could have a slew of new devices to try to garner public interest, but it remains to be seen how that wil play out.
