Samsung's Galaxy Chromebook 2 is now available for pre-order, the company announced today. It starts at $549.99.
Just like the first-gen model, it includes Intel's 10th-generation 'Comet Lake' processors, but this time around, it includes a Core i3 instead of a Core i5. Also, the screen is now FHD using Samsung's QLED technology, as opposed to the 4K AMOLED screen that we saw last time around. It comes with 8GB of RAM, up to 128GB of storage, an HD webcam, a 45.5WHr battery, and weighs 1.23kg.
Pre-orders start today and will run throughout the rest of the month on Samsung.com and at Best Buy. If you pre-order, you can get up to a $50 credit at the retailer where you placed your order. On top of that, if you reserved it on Samsung.com already, you'll get $30 off of select purchases.
The convertible laptop will be available for purchase beginning on March 1, and if you buy it between then and March 14, you can get $30 off of your next purchase at either Best Buy or Samsung.com. It comes in Mercury Gray and Fiesta Red.
