This week marked the official retail launch of Samsung's Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in the United States. While those handsets are locked to their respective carriers, it looks at least one third party retailer has started their pre-order process for the unlocked variants of Samsung's latest.
If you want to try and get your hands on these as soon as possible, you might want to place your order with a reputable seller, such as B&H Photo Video. The shop has both the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ available in three colors - Midnight Black, Maple Gold, and Orchid Gray. The Galaxy S8 starts at $829.99, while the Galaxy S8+ can be had for $929.99. The devices are expected to arrive sometime in May, and will be stocked in limited quantities.
If you aren't in a rush, you can probably wait it out and purchase from retailers like Best Buy that are expected to have it in stock on May 9. Although official pricing is not available from the website, Android Authority has stated that the Galaxy S8 will be offered for $724.99, whereas the Galaxy S8+ will come in at $824.99. Although the price from B&H seems quite high, there is a bit of a silver lining, in that if you are ordering from outside of New York and New Jersey, tax will not be applied to your purchase.
