VU Games' crime-movie adaptation will sport authentic Tony Montana mug, voice talent of original cast, Jay Mohr, Cheech Marin, James Woods, and more.
While Hollywood actors lending their voices to games is nothing new, it has usually been for original properties or adaptations of recent films, particularly science fiction (the Matrix games) or fantasy (the Lord of the Rings games).
However, the last two months have seen some of the most iconic actors in film history join the game adaptations of their classic films. First was Electronic Arts' announcement that James Caan, Robert Duvall, and the late Marlon Brando had recorded dialogue for the forthcoming adaptation of the Godfather. Then came the even more unexpected news from Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment that Clint Eastwood would lend his gravelly voice to a next-generation Dirty Harry game.
