Yesterday in the May 2020 episode of Inside Xbox, about 13 new games were announced for Microsoft's Xbox Series X gaming console. Scarlet Nexus and Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 were two RPG games among those titles. Today, both games have been announced for the PlayStation 5 platform as well.
Developed and published by Bandai Namco, Scarlet Nexus was initially announced for Xbox One and Xbox Series X with support for Smart Delivery. Today a new trailer was revealed along with a press release confirming that the Japanese RPG title will also be coming to more platforms, namely the PS4 and PS5 consoles as well as PC via Steam. Once again, no release date was disclosed.
As for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, yesterday's Inside Xbox announcement already confirmed PlayStation 4 and PC releases along with Xbox One and Series X, so it comes as no surprise that the sequel to Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines will also be making its way to Sony's next-gen PS5 console.
The video game's publisher Paradox Interactive took the liberty of uploading a new trailer for the game in honor of the PlayStation 5 announcement made today as seen below. Although a release date for the title is yet to be confirmed, pre-orders for PC users are currently open.
