Microsoft released Sea of Thieves for the Xbox One and PC a couple of months ago. However, it received a lukewarm response from critics, many of whom cited lack of content and variety as things to consider when judging the longevity of the offered gameplay.
However, it seems that the developer, Rare, is ready to remedy these issues. After releasing The Hungering Deep content update late last month, the developer teased two upcoming content updates for the title today.
As previously announced, the two content updates are titled The Cursed Sails and Forsaken Shores. Apparently, players will have to face a dark place where "fire and ash consumes all", and hordes of skeleton crews rise to present a challenge to players. You can check out the trailer for yourself below:
It's not exactly clear as to what content belongs to which of the two updates, but we do know that The Cursed Sails will be out in July, while Forsaken Shores is slated for a release in September.
