Microsoft has announced another bundle for its Xbox One S console, and the game being bundled with it this time is Rare's upcoming adventure title Sea of Thieves. The company announced that the $299 bundle will begin shipping alongside the game's launch on March 20. However, pre-orders are now available on the Microsoft Store with a $50 discount, bringing the price down to $249.00.
In addition to the free copy of Sea of Thieves, the bundle brings along an Xbox One S with a 1TB hard drive, as well as a standard Xbox One Wireless Controller. Also included are Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass subscriptions, both with one month of access.
While the bundle doesn't ship with any special accessories, Microsoft does offer some extras themed after the game as optional purchases for anyone interested in plundering in style. These involve a controller, a 2TB portable hard drive, as well as two officially-licensed controller stands, all arriving with the same purple and cyan color scheme.
Meanwhile, for those interested in purchasing a stand-alone copy of Sea of Thieves, the game comes in at $59.99 if purchasing outright, but with Microsoft now offering all upcoming Xbox One first-party titles with the Xbox Game Pass, it will also be available via the $9.99 per month subscription program at launch.
