Today, Skagen announced the Jorn Hybrid HR Smartwatch. Skagen is one of the brands under the Fossil Group umbrella, but it doesn't quite have any Wear OS smartwatches this year at CES. Instead, the company is adding a new member to its hybrid watch portfolio, meaning that it looks more like a standard watch but with some smart capabilities.
The Jorn Hybrid HR promises over two weeks of battery life, and that's one of the biggest value propositions of a hybrid smartwatch. It also tracks your heart rate - hence the HR in the name - and it tracks your steps, distance, calories, sleep, and more. You can also choose between the alerts that you want to see most and assign functions to buttons on the always-on display.
You can also connect to your friends. You can do group fitness challenges, set goals, and more. You can also check out your workouts and more through the companion app.
There are a variety of styles for the hybrid smartwatch. It comes in either 38mm or 42mm case sizes, and either of those come in five different colorways, such as gray, black, silver, and gold. The Jorn Hybrid HR comes in at $195.
