SmartBar Xp Beta 4.4 Released

SmartBarXp now allows you to completely turn off the windows taskbar and use it's inbuilt start button, taskbar and system tray notification area.

SmartBarXP is an app that runs down the side of your screen, and provides you with easy access to its built in panes including an MP3 player, POP3 mail inbox, Windows Messenger contact list, MSN Messenger Hotmail add-in and a web search, as well as system performance information and a weather summary.

The bar also has shortcuts to commonly used windows locations. The bar is fully customizable; you can select which panes are shown oÂn the bar, and in which order they appear. You can also select which windows shortcuts will be displayed oÂn the bar, if any. You can add your own shortcuts to the bar, and even design your own panes. The bar is always visible, and windows will not maximize over it, otherwise it can be auto-hidden to prevent taking up space oÂn the screen.
