Back at MWC 2017, Sony unveiled its next generation of Xperia X-seires smartphones, including the flagship device of the lineup, the Xperia XZ Premium.
Now, the firm has launched a mid-range device from its updated X-series of devices, namely the Xperia XA1 Ultra, in India.
The handset offers a 6-inch edge-to-edge full HD display with 2.5D technology, precision-edge detailing and aluminum sides. Powered by a MediaTek Helio P20 Octa-Core chipset, the smartphone packs 4GB of RAM along with 64GB of internal storage, which is expandable up to 256GB through a microSD card. It features a 23MP f/2.0 rear camera and a 16MP f/2.0 front-facing shooter, with front flash. It also sports a 2700mAh battery with Qnovo Adaptive Charging and Quick Charging support.
As far as the software is concerned, the device comes with Android 7.0 Nougat out of the box. Moreover, it includes Xperia Actions, which aim to simplify daily tasks using machine learning.
The device can be picked up right now from any retail store in the country for INR 29,990 (roughly $465). Sony is offering a couple of deals on the purchase of the handset, including a free Quick Charger UCH12 worth Rs. 1,490, a free three-month subscription to Sony LIV, and an INR 1,000 discount on the Style Cover Stand (if bought with the device). The Xperia XA1 Ultra is available in White, Black, and Gold colors.
