Sparkle lines up last FX party before Express takes over.

SPARKLE Computer Co Ltd, professional manufacturer and supplier of VGA cards and recent winner of the "Neowin Choice" Award for their excellent GeforceFX 5900XT; is delighted to announce two new products imminently arriving into the UK.

"The Sparkle GeForce FX 5500 offers a cinematic graphics package delivering faster speeds for the mainstream user at an attractive performance price ratio. This card has an estimated arrival time in the UK for distribution around mid March 2004".

"The SPARKLE GeForce FX 5700 LE, is a perfect, good value solution for next generation gaming, and will be a replacement for the 5600 XT, it is expected to arrive for distribution in April 2004". The press release reads.

Interestingly it concludes with "It is believed that these two products will be the last new arrivals before the much anticipated PCI Express series".

So this looks like the end of the line for the FX series, although [AGP] stocks will continue to flow until the majority of end users migrate to the latest motherboard standards of 64bit CPU's, SATA and PCI Express.
