Although they were once the dominating force behind most Android handsets, for the past several years, HTC has been on quite the decline. However, prior to its recent deal with Google, the firm did manage to strike a chord with the public with its latest offering, the U11.
Although Google's Android One program was on the back burner for a bit, it made the commitment to reboot the initiative. While it still hasn't been made official, it appears that HTC could be adding one of its own to the lineup, in the form of the HTC U11 Life. According to the leaked data, which lines up with prior information about the device, it appears that the handset will be a reasonable device, sporting a 5.2-inch 1080p display, a 16MP camera, and 2,600mAh battery.
As for other specifications, the handset will allegedly arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 processor, with either 3GB RAM with 32GB storage or 4GB RAM with 64GB storage, Edge Sense, and an IP67 rating. Last but not least, the U11 Life will come with Android 8.0 Oreo.
For now, this is just rumored, but it will be an interesting addition to the Android One program if it is priced right.
