HTC scheduled a press event in the city of Berlin today. Specs for two of the phones to be shown could have leaked onto the internet, or so information from both Boy Genius Report suggests, through images from another source. Both of the devices will release running Windows Phone 7’s hotly-anticipated ‘Mango’ update. Of the two phones, it appears that the Eternity will be the more ‘high-end’ handset, boasting superior specs. Of course, the pay-off for this is an increased price. Information, as well as official screen-shots can be viewed below:
HTC Eternity
The HTC Eternity offers a single-core processor, with a front and rear facing camera. The rear camera is 8MP, and offers 720p video recording functionality alongside a dual LED flash and autofocus. The front facing camera is 1.3MP, and offers support for conference and video calls. The Eternity also offers 16GB of storage for files. In addition, it offers WiFi, GPS, DLNA support, and Bluetooth 2.1. The handset is quad-band, and comes with a 1,650mAh battery and 14.2mbps HSDPA. Measurements for the handset are 130.6x70.6x9.9mm.
HTC Omega
The HTC Omega comes with a 3.8” LCD display, and a 1.5GHz MSM8255 processor. In addition, it boasts 512MB of RAM and an 8MP camera. Specifications of the front-facing camera are currently unclear, but it offers Bluetooth 2.1 and 14.2mbps HSDPA, like the Eternity. Again, it is also quad-band, and should operate across most networks.
