Ubisoft today divulged full details on the upcoming GameCube version of Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Pandora Tomorrow. The third-person stealth-action title is set to hit Nintendo's console on July 7 and it will feature a couple of noteworthy additions over the already-released Xbox build, according to the company.
In Pandora Tomorrow, players take control of lone field operative Sam Fisher to assist the US troops who have become engulfed in a conflict with Indonesian guerillas. The title, like the first game, challenges players to stealthily avoid capture and penetrate the enemy's defenses using a wide array of gadgets and weapons.
According to Ubisoft, the GameCube version of Pandora Tomorrow will feature all of the following over the Xbox original:
- All-new Jungle Mission: Use Sam's stealth abilities to evade the enemy in a richly detailed Indonesia jungle setting.
- Post-Mission Statistics and Scoring: Receive feedback on Sam's performance after each mission including everything from the number of shots fires to the number of enemies relates.
- New Alternate Pathways in Revisited Missions: Complete objectives using new pathways, each with its own challenges and rewards.
- New Booby Trap Gameplay: Disable explosive devices using a mechanic similar to the lockpick.
