It was a couple months ago when Sprint debuted its limited time promotion on a cellular plan that offered calls, texts, and unlimited data, for just $15 a month. While that was an amazing deal, Sprint wasn't kidding when it meant limited time, as the plan was discontinued a week later due to overwhelming interest. Now, it looks like Sprint is bringing the plan back for one last hurrah, this time, being priced a tad higher than its initial offering.
Sprint will reveal its new $25 'Kickstart' plan starting on August 24, which will include unlimited calls, texts, and data. Although there is a ten dollar price bump, this is still quite a deal when compared to other wireless carrier plans. Like before, the plan will only be available through the firm's special website, www.sprint.com/kickstart. Those that want to opt in for the plan will need to port over a number from another carrier and also either possess a compatible device or purchase one outright to be eligible for the promotional price.
Also just like before, the plan will have restrictions, like only being able to stream videos at 480p and experiencing throttling when network congestion is high. The plan will also not include perks of Sprint's other unlimited plans like free Hulu. But, if you're just looking for a cheap wireless plan that offers unlimited everything, this could be the plan for you. Just be sure to have everything ready and hit the Sprint website starting tomorrow.
