Google's game streaming service, debuted last week to some criticism and an overall lukewarm reaction. The platform currently has just 22 games, only two of which are available at no additional cost. However, more games are coming before the end of the year, and Google has announced two new titles that will be available for free for Pro members.
On December 1, at 9AM Pacific Time, Stadia Pro users will be able to claim Farming Simulator 19 and the critically acclaimed Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, which was released in 2014 (albeit the original game launched in 2013). Here's Google's Description for the two games:
Farming Simulator 19
Become a modern farmer and develop your farm on two huge American and European environments, filled with exciting new farming activities, crops to harvest and animals to tend to. Drive over 300 authentic vehicles and machines now including John Deere - but also Case IH, New Holland, Challenger, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, Valtra, Krone, Deutz-Fahr, and many more. Grow your farm online with other players.
Tomb Raider: Definitive Edition
The cinematic action-adventure that forced Lara Croft to grow from an inexperienced young woman into a hardened survivor has been re-built, featuring an obsessively detailed Lara and a stunningly lifelike world. To survive her first adventure and uncover the island’s deadly secret, Lara must endure high-octane combat, customize her weapons and gear, and overcome grueling environments. The Definitive Edition of the critically-acclaimed action-adventure includes digital versions of the Dark Horse comic, Brady games mini-artbook and combines all of the DLC.
The two titles join Destiny 2 and Samurai Showdown for a total of four games available at no additional cost for Pro members. You can claim them from the Stadia Store once they're available. Keep in mind, titles you claim for free are only available while you're subscribed to Stadia Pro, so you won't be able to play them if you switch to the free tier when it launches.
