It was only a couple years ago when EA released Star Wars Battlefront. While the trailers promised perhaps what would be the best Star Wars game ever, the actual product ended up leaving much to be desired. While we did see a leaked trailer of its sequel earlier this week, Star Wars Battlefront II has now been made official.
The title was revealed at the Star Wars Celebration that is taking place in Orlando, Florida over the weekend. The single player mode will focus on an entirely new character, Iden Versio. Versio is the commander of the Inferno Squad, an elite group of the Imperial forces. As she witnesses the destruction of the Death Star, a new path is forged, where she must take vengeance. The game will offer multiplayer and an expanded character roster that will span all three eras of Star Wars.
Star Wars Battlefront II will arrive on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on November 17. The game can now be pre-ordered in either a standard and deluxe edition.
