Star Wars Battlefront II is still a couple of months away from launch, but today, EA has made available a nice bonus for the owners of the first game from 2015. For a limited time, Star Wars Battlefront's season pass is available free of charge on PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
The PC version is available via its Origin store page and seems to be part of the store's On the House promotion. The Xbox One version can be claimed through its store page. While it does need an Xbox Live Gold subscription to do so, considering the season pass only provides multiplayer content, that should not be an issue. Meanwhile, the PlayStation 4 version does not require a PS Plus subscription to claim, but a subscription is a requirement for accessing the game's multiplayer.
The season pass includes the four multiplayer expansions that landed on Star Wars Battlefront, which are Outer Rim, Bespin, Death Star, and Rogue One: Scarif. The expansions add a total of 16 new maps, as well as various weapons, vehicles, new modes, and more.
There isn't an end date listed for the promotion, so it would be best to grab it now if one is interested in returning to the shooter to play around with some new content. Interestingly, Star Wars Battlefront II will not be receiving a season pass, as EA hopes to keep the community from splintering between expansions. A beta for the sequel is slated to arrive in October, ahead of the November 17 official launch.
