Valve is closing out 2021 with its always reliable Steam Winter Sale, giving PC gamers another opportunity to shorten wishlists and lighten wallets a little further. The final sale of the year on the behemoth storefront has discounts for almost everything available on it, from latest AAA releases to obscure indies from decades ago.
It will be some time before the discounts stabilize considering the first crunch of people trying to check out the latest sales, so don't be surprised to see prices jump all over the place in the first few hours at least.
The front page for the first day has highlights for Days Gone, Tetris Effect Connected, Jurassic World Evolution2, Deathloop, New World, multiple genre and collection spotlights, and much more. Keep in mind that while the sale runs for two weeks, the prices will remain the same for the entire duration.
With the Steam Awards nominations completing during the Autumn Sale, now the awards ceremony is in its final stage, offering players the chance to vote for their choice in the eight categories available. Head here to see the finalists. As always, new holiday inspired profile customization options are available on the Steam Points Shop alongside a free sticker.
The Steam Winter Sale of 2021 will close its doors on January 5 at 10 a.m. PT.
