Gamers rejoice! Your beloved Steam Summer Sale is set to start sometime today, as per leaks by Steam Database.
Valve's yearly tradition of offering thousand of games at steep discounts of up to 70% is back once again, and the alleged date seems to fit the company's pattern well. The sale started on June 23 in 2016, and on June 22 last year. Moreover, Steam Database is quite the reliable source on this matter, having accurately predicted the starting date for sales in previous years as well.

SteamDB, unfortunately, didn't give an end date but these usually last for about two weeks and end in the first week of July; last year, that was on July 5.
Before you go spending hundreds of dollars on those oh-so-tantalizing deals, you may also want to check out the total amount you've spent building that extensive gaming library on Steam. The thousands of dollars the hardcore gamers among you may see piling up on that page may give you a little pause.
