releasing on PlayStation®4 and Xbox One on April 21st! https://t.co/9BXa8dG9ZH
Console gamers have had to wait for a finalized release date for the game for quite a while. Stranded Deep for PS4 and Xbox One was originally supposed to be released on October 9, 2018, but following the closure of the publisher Telltale Publishing, it was delayed to an unforeseen point in time.
Finally, the PS4 and Xbox One version for Stranded Deep was announced on January 29 earlier this year, with a tentative release frame between the end of March to early April. This was later pushed back yet another time to mid-April recently, due to the novel coronavirus pandemic.
The blurb for the game reads:
"Take the role of a plane crash survivor stranded somewhere in the Pacific Ocean. Come face to face with some of the most life-threatening scenarios that will result in a different experience each time you play. Scavenge. Discover. Survive."
After a long and arduous journey making its way to Sony and Microsoft's console platforms, the adventure survival title will hit online stores on April 21 and will be priced around $20, similar to the PC version which costs $14.99 on Steam.
