Summer Game Fest returns this June with world premieres, announcements, and more

Summer Game Fest, the all-digital games festival that spawned in 2020 to fill the gaps left by canceled events like E3, is returning this year featuring content from over 30 partners from the gaming space. Xbox, 2K, Blizzard, SEGA, Steam, Ubisoft, and many more are slated to provide updates during the festivities.

The Geoff Keighley-curated ongoing event will open its doors on June 10 at 11 am PT / 2 pm ET/ 6 pm GMT with a special "Kick Off Live!" broadcast. The original program will feature over a dozen world premieres, announcements, and also offer a preview of other solo publisher events coming later.

Much like last year, gaming fans will be able to use Summer Game Fest as a straightforward way to keep track of and catch the individual digital events publishers and developers are planning to host. "As a free, fan-first, global experience, Summer Game Fest will bring the entire video game community together for a memorable month of announcements and updates”, added Geoff Keighley.

The Summer Game Fest website now hosts an all-new event schedule that will be updated as more companies reveal their announcement plans. At the time of writing, the portal offers easy tracking of Kickoff Live, Ubisoft Forward, Steam Next Fest (another Demo festival), and EA Play Live.
