Nintendo's Switch console will be officially available for purchase starting March 3, 2017. At its presentation yesterday, the company showed off a number of titles that would be making their way to its console, including Super Mario Odyssey, Sonic Mania, ARMS, 1-2 Switch, Fire Emblem Warriors, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, and Splatoon 2.
It also announced that Super Bomberman R will be among the launch titles available alongside its new hybrid console as well.
In a brief 30-second video, the company showcased the various gameplay mechanics of the upcoming game. It promised that most of the gameplay would remain the same, with players each controlling their own Bomber characterand placing bombs at strategic positions to demolish his enemies. That said, Nintendo did emphasize that Super Bomberman R sports a modern look with 3D stages featuring dynamic environments and "photo-real" graphics.
Up to eight players will be able to play against each other in a "Battle" mode. The title also includes a campaign mode that can be played by up to two gamers. Nintendo stated that Super Bomberman R features an "enriched" story, with Bomberman's siblings and enemies given voices and rich personalities by a star-studded cast of voice actors.

Super Bomberman R will be available on March 3, 2017 as a separate purchase alongside the Nintendo Switch. The company promises that the "simple but strategic game with new rules and 3D stages is fun for everyone", regardless of age.
