Microsoft announced the Surface Book with Performance Base back in October, but as of right now, you can only get one if you're in the US, Canada, Australia, or New Zealand. Today, the company announced that as of early next quarter, the device will be available in eight new countries. The upcoming new markets include Austria, China, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Switzerland, and the UK.
The firm has also recently expanded its HoloLens headset to other markets, which include the UK, Ireland, France, Germany, Australia, and New Zealand. The device will be coming to China in 2017 as well.
Microsoft is certainly working hard to bring its newest devices to more international markets, saying that the Surface Book with Performance Base is "coming off of strong momentum in the US and Canada". There's no word yet on when the Surface Studio will be expanded to more markets, but the company is bound to make an announcement at some point.
The company didn't share any specifics in regards to pricing of the device. We've reached out to Microsoft for more information, and we'll let you know as soon as we hear more.
