The Surface Pro 7+ is the latest Surface to receive the April 2022 firmware update. Unfortunately, there is nothing exciting in this release, and it contains nothing but under-the-hood stability improvements.
Important: Unlike Windows updates, you cannot uninstall Surface firmware updates. Therefore, we recommend checking a list of known issues and additional notes before installing a new version.
What is new in April 2022 firmware for Surface Pro 7+?

The April 2022 firmware update is available for all Surface Pro 7+ configurations with Windows 10 20H2 or newer (October 2020 Update). Note that this update does not apply to the regular Surface Pro 7. The Surface Pro 7+, which Microsoft aims at business customers, has newer hardware and thus requires separate updates from the Surface Pro 7.
According to the official documentation, Microsoft plans to support the Surface Pro 7+ until January 15, 2025.
