Trying to get your hands on the $999 128 GB Surface Pro tablet has turned into something of a game in itself for the people who want to buy one. A week ago, Microsoft put the 128 GB version back on sale on the Microsoft Store website, but on Thursday site showed that the tablet was out of stock.
Now it looks like Microsoft has found a new batch of the 128 GB Surface Pro units, and as a result the Microsoft Store website has once again put the tablet back on sale. Microsoft is still holding off shipments of the tablet until March 1st. The good news is that shipment date hasn't changed since last week so if you order one now, you won't have to wait as long to get it in your mailbox compared to others who ordered the 128 GB version a week ago.
The $999 tablet is also supposed to be available on store shelves in the US at Microsoft Store locations as well as Best Buy stores, but as we have mentioned earlier this week supplies continue to be limited. If you live near one of these stores, your best bet is to call ahead to make sure they have units in stock.
In related news, you can now download the music featured in the recent Surface Pro TV ad, Vibe, from the Soundcloud website. Enjoy.
