Although Microsoft announced two new flagship Windows 10 Mobile devices at its October event, many were left out in the cold when it was revealed that AT&T would be the only carrier to offer the handsets. Although not in the same realm, it looks like T-Mobile will offer its own Windows 10 Mobile handset soon, in the form of the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL.
According to Windows Central, T-Mobile will throw its hat into the ring in the next couple of weeks and although it won't be a high-end handset, it does offer some reasonable specifications.
The specifications of the Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL are as follows:
- Quad-core 1.1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 system-on-chip
- 4G LTE connectivity
- 5.5-inch display with HD (1280x720) resolution
- 2GB RAM
- 16GB onboard storage
- 8MP rear camera
- 2MP front-facing camera
- 2500mAh battery
- microSD card slot
Pricing has not been unveiled, but if the specifications are any indication, this device should be on the cheaper and more affordable end of the smartphone scale. Naturally, CES is just around the corner and there could be some fairly interesting unveilings when it comes to Windows 10 Mobile handsets.
