Apple is reportedly working on a new Passwords app for its own platforms and Windows. The company is expected to launch its password manager app at the WWDC 2024 event later this month.

1Password has announced a new update for its iOS app which brings support for passkey. Apple had earlier confirmed that it will allow third-party services to offer passkey support starting iOS 17.
The popular password manager is going to be rolling out its new, passwordless login option soon, in the form of a combination of biometrics and passkey protection to unlock the application.
Apple says it recorded record-breaking sales over the holiday period with $890 million spent in the App Store from Christmas Eve till New Year. On New Years day alone, it saw $300 million in sales.
Popular password management service 1Password has finally added its name to the sparsely populated list of services with an extension for Microsoft Edge. The extension is now available in the Store.
1Password will come to Microsoft Edge, with a preview coming soon to Windows Insiders. 1Password stores online account credentials and benefits from in-app integrations on both iOS and Android.
