A lucky iPhone flying onboard an unlucky Alaska Airlines plane has survived a free fall from 16,000 feet. The phone landed unscathed after being sucked out due to a lost door plug.

An Alaska Airlines flight was evacuated immediately after landing following a Samsung Galaxy A21 handset reportedly catching fire in the passenger cabin. Minor injuries have been confirmed too.
Alaska Airlines is to offer Windows tablets to passengers on its long-haul flights, providing access to movies, TV shows, music and Xbox games - and all content is free to enjoy until March 31.
