Starting today, Amazon Prime Video subscribers will begin to see ads when they watch movies and TV shows on the service. They can remove the ads by paying Amazon an extra $2.99 a month.

Amazon has confirmed that Prime Video subscribers will start to see ads on its movies and TV shows on January 29, 2024, unless they choose to pay an additional $2.99 a month to ditch the ads.
