Amazon has announced that its Astro robot is now available as a customisable security solution for businesses in the U.S. which combines Ring Protect and Astro Secure to act as a security guard.

Amazon's annual hardware event has been given a date of September 28th. It typically launches new devices, services and features at this event, which saw new Ring, Blink and the Astro robot last year.
After adding E2EE to hard-wired and plug-in video doorbells, Ring has extended the feature to its battery-powered or fully-wireless devices. The company will also allow the transferring of devices.
Ring has introduced security improvements to beef up user privacy and security such as a mandatory two-factor authentication and more options for limiting data shared with third-party providers.
