Facebook has teamed up with leading charity Missing People to distribute 'Child Rescue Alerts' in the UK, pushing localized notifications to users when a child is missing and potentially in danger.

Bing has updated its search engine to add a new feature: AMBER alerts. These alerts are triggered when a child goes missing in order to give the public information to help with the child's return.
An insider at AT&T has claimed that the long awaited GDR2 and Amber updates will be rolled out to customers who own a Lumia 820 or 920 today. Nokia and AT&T have yet to make an official statement.
